After a review of the minutes of the 25 AUG meeting,
Arpad Muranyi moved to approve the minutes.
Bob Ross seconded.

actions status:
  Randy Wolff sent the section 10.9 document to the email reflector for
  further offline review on 25 AUG.
  
  add to agenda: review and expand the note about multiple repeaters in a link
  to make it more explicit.

  Randy asked Walter Katz to review the editing of the note in Statistical Only
  Training. Walter confirmed that the change is consistent with intent.

  Michael merged the edited section 10.9 back into the whole specification
  document but did not send it to the reflector. He has some questions about
  remaining highlights in the document.

  Arpad commented during review of minutes that he submitted a BIRD regarding
  editing "bit_time."
  
  [AR] Michael will fix editorial typo described in email from parser developer.

  [AR] Michael will merge the edited section 10.9 back into the whole
  specification document. As part of this task, Michael will scrub the section
  10.9 document for correct font style and size.

  [AR] Michael will review the remaining tables for consistency in format and
  data with the other tables.

  The group reviewed and expanded the note about multiple repeaters in a link
  to make it more explicit. The note was found under one of the parameter
  sections. It was moved to the overview of section 10.8.
  
  The group reviewed the BIRD proposed by Arpad to change "bit_time" in the
  specification to "symbol_time." This makes the text more correct for
  discussions of PAMn. The specification version 7.0 has a few statements
  to describe how symbol_time for PAM4 is equivalent to bit_time for NRZ.
  
  [AR] Arpad will provide some more details in the BIRD and send it to the
  editorial email list again for email discussion.
