After a review of the minutes of the 8 SEP meeting, Arpad Muranyi moved to approve the minutes. Randy Wolff seconded. The minutes were approved. actions status: Michael Mirmak sent the draft2 of the proposed bit-time BIRD to the email reflector for further offline review. agenda: Randy suggested updating the BIRD 201, back-channel statistical flows, to capture changes we made in section 10.9. The task group should make a new BIRD to supersede BIRD 201 AND add other editorial changes. [AR] Randy will create this new BIRD about major editorial changes in section 10.9. The BIRD will be a copy of the resulting text in 10.9 rather than a mark-up of text in BIRD 201 and other changes, since these changes are extensive and wide-spread. Reviewed BIRD regarding bit_time. Arpad moved to submit this new BIRD. Bob seconded. There were no objections. Bob requested review of some tables in the specification regarding required keywords. Use of the required statement for AMI parameters is not consistent throughout the specification. Correcting these instances will require a full review of the specification. Making all AMI parameters requirement status requires conditional definitions. Bob suggested that the editing should remove the word, legacy, since it is not defined precisely for this specification. Legacy appears just one time. The usage seems to mean old. Simply removing legacy from the sentence keeps the intent of the text and makes it more clear. Reviewed the term peak-to-peak using hyphens or not. Edited the full text of the specification to make it consistent to use hyphens. Also, use a hyphen in worst-case. Table 37 reviewed with 4 footnotes. The definitions for default are consistent wth usage in other tables. Table 41 is a summary of other AMI parameters tables. It includes a place-holder column since this appears on some previous AMI parameter tables. [AR] Michael will clean up the formatting of table 41. Arpad moved to adjourn. Bob seconded.
