After a review of the minutes of the 15 SEP meeting,
Randy Wolff moved to approve the minutes.
Arpad Muranyi seconded.
The minutes were approved.

actions status:
  Randy created a new BIRD about major editorial changes in section 10.9. Arpad
  suggested a revision of the BIRD.

  Michael cleaned up the formatting of table 41, but did not send out the
  updated specification document.

agenda:
  Review of section 10.9 editorial BIRD 215 - copied summary of BIRD 201.1.
  Proposed changes section highlights the editorial changes. The majority of
  the changes are in sections 10.9.1 and 10.9.2. Randy suggested that the BIRD
  is ready to submit to the open forum. The group discussed again the issue of
  required note being either "yes" or "no", but many parameters' requirement is
  dependent on other syntax.
  
  Arpad submitted the motion to submit the BIRD to the open forum for approval.
  Bob seconded the motion.
  
  Review "required" property for AMI parameters - The group agreed that
  Required = "Yes" means that the parameter or keyword must exists in the file
  (IBS or AMI) for the file to be valid. Parameters that are required dependent
  on other syntax will be recorded as required = "No" with a note about the
  dependency. The tables of AMI parameters were updated with this revised
  definition.
