Agenda: Michael asked if there have been any comments on BIRD221 or BIRD222. Randy and Arpad reported no comments, so there is no need for changes in the draft specification. The group reviewed Arpad's changes regarding [Series Pin Mapping]. The group accepted the current revision of Arpad's suggested text. Michael edited the paragraph in draft5. "Series Model" capitalized in all cases, noted by Randy, confirmed by Michael. Michael asked if anybody had comments from reviewing draft4. no comments. Michael showed the editorial task list for review. Arpad suggested adding the [Series Pin Mapping] clarification edits to the known issues list. The task list has a task to run the parser on all full examples of IBIS syntax. The group discussed this task. Weston asked how many examples in the specification are full enough to be checked by the parser. Michael searched the specification. It appears that there is only 1 possibly full example that could be checked. Michael removed the requirement from the task list. There is another task to review the usage of the "required" field. Since there are so many cases where requirements are dependent on usage of other keywords, the effort to correct this usage is large. The task group agrees that the revision should be carefully considered and changed in a later version. Arpad made motion to submit this draft of the specification to the IBIS open forum this week conditional on the approval of BIRD221 and BIRD222. Randy seconded the motion. the motion is approved.
