Some LiveMeeting issues prevented document sharing. Thanks to Lance Wang for setting up a WebEx to substitute. Michael Mirmak convened the meeting, briefly describing work done so far and work remaining. Bob Ross suggested that 80% of the IBIS 5.1 revisions were complete. However, the major concern remains corrections to the figures plus completing "passes" of the document as noted in his and Arpad's suggested changes. These suggestions were sent to the reflector. Michael suggested that section 6c be split, so that the non-traditional keyword content be moved to section 10. Bob agreed. Arpad Muranyi added that Section 6c addresses links between DLL and AMI files, while section 10 is for model authors. Michael replied some edits would be required to address the two different audiences. Bob noted that the section 6c material that was moved would not be an introduction, but might conceptually form sections 10a and 10b. On specific changes, the team agreed on three major categories to be done immediately: - corrections of figures - formatting of Section 10 - font consistency Michael can make these fairly easily, including adding captions. Lou may be needed to remove captions from figures. The team briefly discussed aligning figures to sections. The labels on Section 6a, 6b, 6c will remain in this pass, though dynamic links may change this later. For figures, chapter.figure (e.g., 6a.1, 6a.2) will be the format. Additionally, the yellow highlighting for in-document redirection should be removed. References there to "below" or "above" should be removed in favor of specific locations. Table captions inside the tables should be removed. In terms of process, Walter Katz suggested changing the document in single passes but with approval by e-mail, for speed. Randy Wolff agreed. Bob suggested review and approval in meetings. Michael proposed and will use a hybrid approach, with multiple changes in each pass, but review of the multi-pass documents by meeting. The team discussed specific approved and pending BIRDs. The division of these BIRDs between IBIS 5.1 and 5.2 are listed below. ARs - Michael to contact Lou on figure fixes, availability for doing additional work (figures are embedded, so Michael can make changes directly) - Bob to supply an updated tree diagram, using the correct format Traditional IBIS BIRDs for IBIS 5.1 ----------------------------------- 111.3 113 133 141 142 BIRDs for IBIS 5.2 ------------------ 121 123 124 IBIS-AMI BIRDs for IBIS 5.1 --------------------------- 112 114 115 120 126 127 128 130 132 134 135 136 137 138 139 140 143
