Minutes from Aug. 17 were approved without objection. Michael Mirmak reviewed the latest draft revision, pass 2, of the reformatted IBIS 5.1 document. The following issues were found: - P. 12 – the list of characters should be indented (Bob Ross) though the content is correct - P. 4 – the list of characters should be in Courier New (Bob( - The next pass should check for consistent usage of POWER, GND and NC, particularly in terms of quotation marks (Michael) - P. 26 – the figure requires editing; Figure 6 should distinguish pulse high vs. Vinl levels (Randy Wolff) - P. 51 – check the quotation marks on “typ” vs ‘typ’; similarly “max” and “Vcc” should be checked for consistency - P. 52 – “Vcc relative” should be checked for quotation marks and hyphens; Bob Ross suggested systematic rules for single and double quotation marks should be explicitly noted - P. 55 – “logic zero” and “logic one” need checking - P. 64 – Figure 11 uses “GND” vs. a ground symbol; this is inconsistent throughout the document figures - P. 77 – the figure should show a continuous current arrow - Figure 17 - node symbol is inconsistent; this is a document-wide issue - Figure 18 – the phrase “Receiver_model_RX” should be edited or removed - Figure 19 – the statement “Waveform @ Die” should be re-placed in the figure - Table 8 – dashes are inconsistent vs. surrounding tables; a colon may be more appropriate, particularly for Table 9 - P. 100 – no figure should be used for the hierarchy of keywords, but this *is* a figure in Section 6C - In Section 6B, some corrections regarding module usage in the examples are still required - P. 118 – Figure 27 contains extraneous && and %% characters - P. 123 – Tables 13 and 14 require captioning Bob suggested splitting up Section 10 into at least a 10A and 10B, to accommodate the previous portions of Section 6C. For the next meeting, the review of pass 2 will be completed, after the team reviews proposals for Section 10 formats.
