Justin Butterfield seconded. Minutes were approved without objection. Review of ARs: - Michael Mirmak to edit new IBIS 7.0 draft and send to group. [AR] - This was done. The document is too large to be attached, and was posted for linking. The checklist was also updated and sent out. Michael Mirmak reviewed the agenda topics: - Review of ver7_0_180816.docx - Review of task list - Selection of editor for next release Edtorial review of ver7_0_180816.docx and the task checklist: Michael Mirmak showed the checklist, saying we would review how we will organize and track the completion of tasks. We will record dates for Implemented and Verified (as a group). We will track the affected draft pages. Michael Mirmak showed the ver6.1_known_issues. He said that the numbering called for in item 1 has not yet been addressed. He suggested making it a more global set of fixes, because the issue is found elsewhere per Arpad Muranyi's previous AR. Bob Ross noted that AMI parameters also needed similar fixes. General Reserved Parameters will need to change because it also covers Model_Specific. Michael M. suggested adding a new known issue for those changes. Bob said this would trigger a change in the numbering system. Michael M. said he was suggesting changing only the checklist, not the known issues document. He added a note to the checklist to describe the required work. Mike LaBonte suggested getting the state of the checklist up to date before beginning new editorial work. Michael Mirmak made fixes to the issue numbering sequence. Bob Ross suggested using color to mark completed items. Green shading would be used. We reviewed and verified item 2. Bob Ross noted that the IBIS 7 draft had no page numbers. Michael Mirmak said some but not all pages did have numbers. Michael M. said page numbers reflected the document showing markup. Bob Ross preferred using no markup for page references. We reviewed checklist item 3 and marked it Verified. We reviewed checklist item 4. Michael Mirmak said he had found an additional un-italicized word and fixed that. We marked this Verified. We reviewed checklist item 5. Michael Mirmak said we might have a technical problem. Bob Ross said he had misread the prblem statement. The problem was that the Value Format was missing from an AMI example. Arpad Muranyi said the examples for both Usage Out and Info should be the same in that regard. Bob said the same issue was repeated elsewhere. Michael M. changed the examples, restoring deleted text and adding Value Formats. Arpad noted that the examples had no indentation. Bob said there should be none. This item was marked as Verified. We reviewed checklist item 6. Arpad Muranyi suggested not having a page break after an example, and this was removed. We marked this Verified. We reviewed checklist item 7. Bob Ross believed the new edit had NRX instead of NRZ somewhere. Michael M. found that and fixed it. Justin Butterfield suggest adding a comma to new notes about Modulation. A missing sentence ending was added. This was considered Verified. Bob said a chapter reference was all uppercase, but the actual chapter heading was title case. Michael Mirmak added a checklist item for checking capitalization of headings and references to them. Bob noted that the TOC might show different case. We marked this as Verified. We reviewed checklist item 8 and marked it Verified. We reviewed checklist item 9. Bob Ross said that a figure number was wrong, but also text describing the connection of references in the case where split C_comp_* keywords were used was unclear. Radek Biernacki suggested explicitly naming the reference sources that could be used where there were multiple reference connections. Michael Mirmak made a partial change. This was not marked as Verified, discussion was to continue. Michael Mirmak asked if other fixes could be made before the next meeting. Mike LaBonte moved to assign Michael Mirmak as editor for the next round. Bob Ross seconded. There were no objections. Mike Mirmak to send updated draft to Mike LaBonte for posting, and send link to list [AR] Mike LaBonte moved to adjourn. Arpad Muranyi seconded. The meeting adjourned without objection. The next meeting will take place August Wednesday, Aug 22.
