No patents were declared. Justin Butterfield took minutes. Review of minutes from the December 7 meeting: Arpad Muranyi moved to approve. Bob Ross seconded. Minutes were approved without objection. Review of ARs: - Mike LaBonte to fix broken link to IBIS 7.0 Known Issues document. - Michael stated he is able to download this now. Mike reported it was a file naming issue that is now fixed. - Michael Mirmak to adjust all Allowable Data Format tables using vertical header alignment. - Michael reported this is done. Opens: - Bob asked about the checklist item regarding line spacing. Michael noted we came up with some guidelines which have been applied to the latest document. Bob will review these changes. Review of ver7_0_181208.docx: Michael noted checklist item 83 is regarding the vertical spacing issues. He sent out a set of general rules and would like to review this, as these rules have been applied to the document. Mike agreed with this approach. Michael commented the first several tables have the table width set to the margins. He applied this to all the other tables and every table is now uniform width. This covers checklist item 89. The Allowable Data Format tables now have vertical alignment in the column headings. The notes have been moved into the tables. Michael suggested to go through the tables one by one to review these changes. Mike would like some time to review some spacing issues in the current draft. Michael agreed to save some time at the end of the meeting. Michael showed Tables 36 and 38 which have the notes inside the table. Arpad asked about Table 29 which has the "Dual-Dirac" column heading cut off. Michael fixed this and asked if there were any other occurrences of this issue. Arpad replied this was the only one. We marked checklist item 89 as verified. Bob noted that the figure name spacing is not consistent. Michael noted that there is a reason for this, but we can discuss it later. Michael showed Table 30 with the notes included in the table. Mike asked if all three instances of tables with notes outside are done. Michael confirmed that these tables have been changed. Bob suggested we should remove the blank line after the last note in each of these tables. Michael changed this in Tables 18, 27, 30, 36, 40, and 47. He also changed Tables 6, 7, and 15 to the same notes formatting as the other tables. Bob asked if we need to add a superscript for the notes in Tables 6 and 7. Michael responded we do not always have a superscript. Michael asked Mike to go through the spacing issues he found. Mike noted, on page 158, the two lists have different spacing. On pages 200 and 201, there is a paragraph spacing issue where the spacing should be 4 point between the paragraphs. On page 220, there is extra space above Dual-Dirac. On pages 240, 264, and 265, there are paragraphs with incorrect spacing. Michael noted Figure 42 is an example of the figure spacing issue Bob mentioned earlier. He noted the issue is with the layout options of "With Text Wrapping" vs. "In Line with Text". Arpad thought that Figure 42 could be cropped to remove some white space. Michael changed Figures 42 and 43 to "In Line with Text" to reduce the spacing between the figure and the caption. Mike commented, on pages 274, 275, and 276, there are paragraphs separated with hard spacing. He also noted the Examples on page 277 should be preceded by a times new roman 12 point line. Bob suggested we should check the other instances of Example. Michael will check the other instances of Example for spacing issues [AR]. Mike asked about the spacing after the bullet lists on page 300. Bob asked if there should be one line or two. Mike suggested one blank line. Mike also commented there are lines which are not 12 point on page 299. Michael corrected these spacing issues as noted. Bob commented the list numbering on page 205 is out of sync. Michael corrected this. Michael stated he cannot attend the meeting on Wednesday. Mike stated he can host. We agreed to meet on Wednesday. Michael will send the document and checklist to Mike [AR]. Michael asked everyone to review the spacing rules list he sent out. Mike asked about the Interconnect Section, where we have a lot of blank lines between paragraphs, if he should change these to 4 point spacing. Arpad agreed with making this change. Mike moved to adjourn. Arpad seconded. The meeting adjourned without objection. The next meeting will take place Wednesday, December 12, at 8 AM Pacific. Open Technical Questions: 1.
