IBIS Folk:

I am sending this note again in case it did not successfully go out last
Friday.

Models in Motorola Application Note AN1402 "MC10/100H600 Translator
Family I/O SPICE Modelling Kit" show that there are "power" and "ground"
clamp circuits at the input and outputs of some ECL interfaces, primarily
for ESD protection.

The ECL models should allow for including such clamps even though they would
be well out of the range of the normal ECL signal transitions. They would
be useful for model completeness and for abnormal situations.
