1. Greetings
While waiting for everyone to arrive, Will Hobbs described Intel's plan for
providing Pentium(TM) processor IBIS models. Discussion flowed into flight
times and ramp times.

2. Bob Ross's Roll-up (Presentation)
Bob briefly introduced his roll up, which was then used as a basis for the
editing process.

3. Page-by-page review of roll-up
The group reviewed Bob's roll-up page-by-page, noting changes on a master copy.
All changes from V1.1 are marked in the Word for Windows edit file REV2_0.DOC,
which Derrick is maintaining.

4. Pending BIRDs discussion
Discussed as part of page-by-page review.

6. Conference call open forum (Vote on BIRDs)
Bob ward, John Kiefer, Arpad joined the editing committee on the phone.

BIRD 13.2 was discussed and approved unanimously.

BIRD 14.1 was split into two issues:

1) First part Specifications Section [Pin Extension 1]. Model_type
sub-parameter removed. Vtest changed to Vmeas. This BIRD is to be reissued as
BIRD 16 and entered into REV2_0.DOC as pending approval at the 5/27 meeting.

2) Second (additional sub-parameters to the Model keyword). This portion of
BIRD 14 (as BIRD 14.3) was approved unanimously.

BIRD 5.4, Pin Mapping, was approved unanimously.

BIRD 15. A long discussion ensued, mostly between Jon Powell and Arpad. Data
derivation, combining data, measurement anomalies, decomposing data into data/
V/I curves,... should we provide measured or simulated data?

Agreement reached: Chop out all but last paragraph of BIRD 15:
Since in the case of a non 3-statable buffer this difference curve
cannot be generated through lab measurements (because the clamping
curves can not be measured alone), the pullup and pulldown curves of
an IBIS model may contain the sum of the clamping characteristics
and the output structure. In this case the clamping curves must
contain all zeroes, or the keywords must be omitted.

Tri-stateable parts: Keep 15 as is - sorta. This affects the non-monotonic
approved BIRD. Add note to it (regarding the Golden Parser Warning/Note).

Resolution was not clear.

x. Levels-of-support discussion
Decided not to do levels of support at this time.

8. Continue page-by-page review
The group completed the review of Bob's roll-up.

AR: Derrick and Stephen to edit, clean up, and post the draft to vhdl.org.
[DONE]

7. Format/spec. outline discussion (new sections?)
Discussed as part of page-by-page review.

    - Package model (within / without)
      Within.

    - IBIS Check program, how to spec.
      Not discussed.

    - Context diagrams in the spec.?
      Yes, as needed.

9. Statement of Intent review/rewrite
Started, not finished.

10. Wrap up
Derrick will chair the 5/27 meeting, as Will Hobbs will be traveling. The main
focus will be discussion of the draft Rev 2.0 document.
