The ANSI/EIA-656 IBIS Committee will have it's yearly summit meeting
the Monday(Jan26th)of the DesignCon98 week in Santa Clara, CA.

This is an summit meeting to share information, discuss technical challenges,
and talk about any IBIS related issues/experiences.

We would like this summit to address experiences, success stories, technical
challenges etc from the Users, Model providers, EDA vendors and any interested
groups.

So, here is the call for presentation. We would like to keep the format similar
to the last year's meeting. Meaning, each speaker will get 15 to 20 minutes
to present. You do not have to be a member to attend the meeting.

Some topic ideas:

High freq effects simulation using IBIS models(eg. 500MHZ etc)
Comparison of SPICE vs IBIS
EDA tools and IBIS spec support
IBIS model and Accuracy study
XYZ companies experience in IBIS model generation
How IBIS is being used in multi-board simulation
How to pick the right tool for IBIS simulation
etc
etc

Pls forward your presentation ideas and the amount of time you will need to
any one of the IBIS officers:

        Bob Ross(bob@icx.com) Interconnectix
        Syed Huq(huq@rockie.nsc.com) National Semiconductor Corp
        Stephen Peters(sjpeters@ichips.intel.com)Intel
