While it is a nice gesture to thank someone for the response
they wrote, it is also annoying to have to open a bunch of
meaningless messages on these reflectors (which are quite
active already as it is).

I would suggest that if someone really wants to say thanks for
the answers they got they should ONLY send it to the person
they got it from. This could reduce unnecessary network traffic
and could save some time for the rest of us...
