Hello Bill:

  Good question. Actually, the IBIS connector spec is a separate and
independent document from the IBIS specification itself. Although they both
come from the IBIS Open Forum and share a common look and feel, the two are
independent specifications that address different needs.

As far as dates go, I expect the futures committee to release a draft of
Version 1.0 of the Interconnect Specification to the IBIS Open Forum before
the end of the month.

Hi Stephen:

Wasn't the IBIS connector spec going to be included in version 4.0? If not,
is it sliding to a later version for which you can project a ballpark date
estimate?

My apologies if this is old news, but I was surprised that it didn't appear
to be in there.
