I still find the proposal to be confusing. An example would
help a lot. Can someone please come up with an example of a
multi-lingual model? Since the driver with pre-emphasis has
come up, how about that one? I would like to see the ibis code
and the spice code that make up such a model.
It seems to me that making up such a model, and hand-compiling
it, would be a prerequisite to any real evaluation of a
standard proposal. I would do this first even for a
proprietary language, before any actual coding.
