Good ideas!

I would also like to propose live web video streaming of future ibis summits. This can essentially be done for pennies to the dollar. Let me know if your interested.

Cheers,

Abdulrahman,

Thanks for the note. Part of the reason we are trying out collaboration
tools is to allow participant evaluation and hear about preferences
(e.g., which ones are available under which operating systems). We can
certainly try WebEx in the future.

We have been asked to consider an audio streaming collaboration tool to
reduce teleconference costs, particularly for non-US participants. I
believe Skype has been proposed. If there are others we should
evaluate, please feel free to reply with suggestions.

teleconference

Materials for the Oct. 12 IBIS Open Forum teleconference topic, "IBIS
Enhancement Priorities" (originally called "Improving Differential Pins
and Measurements" in the agenda) are now available on the IBIS website:

http://www.eda.org/ibis/docs/ibis-enhancement-priorities.pdf
http://www.eda.org/ibis/docs/ibis-enhancement-priorities.ppt

As an experiment, a LiveMeeting has been set up for the IBIS Open Forum
teleconference, to assist in viewing the agenda and materials. This is
entirely optional, as all teleconference materials are available through
the reflectors and the IBIS websites.
