The IBIS Open Forum is pleased to announce that Touchstone 2.0 was approved as an official specification April 24,2009, by a unanimous vote. You can find the specification in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Word formats at: http://www.eda.org/ibis/touchstone_ver2.0/. Development of a syntax parser, similar to IBISCHK, is under active discussion. Standardization is under consideration for a version 2.1, after industry input on the current specification is gathered. Your comments are welcome.
