[IBIS] Suggesting Added Capability to the AMI spec

Hello IBIS,

I am an engineer responsible for making receiver models and have
noticed an opportunity for simulation time improvement and accuracy
within the IBIS-AMI spec.

Currently, there are several reserved parameters and model outputs
defined. The ones in question are typically separated between
deterministic and random processes. One deterministic parameter,
Clock_Ticks is perfectly suited for modeling the deterministic jitter
components of the link such the jitter introduced by the bandwidth of
the CDR architecture.

Along with the Clock_Ticks, I would like to add a random process that
should not need to take additional simulation times and evaluations of
confidence intervals for accuracy so I would like for the IBIS-AMI spec
to support both Clock_Ticks and Rx_Clock_PDF in such a way that
simulation time does not increase.

The method would be to generate the PDF of the link and then
convolute with the PDF defined by the Rx_Clock_PDF such that the Rj is
completely handled in post processing.

Currently, the handling of each one of these parameters is defined.
I am simply asking for the combination is also defined as well.

There are a lot of little details in the definition of this spec that
I would be glad to help with and become a more active contributor to the
IBIS-AMI spec which in my view has a lot of potential.

 Thank you for your consideration.

 Warm Regards,

     Ryan Coutts
