For a while I thought IT had shut down the reflector..

It was too silent….even for Confucius.

Well said, Michael. I've rubbed elbows with many of the folks in the IBIS community for some years now, and they're a bunch of really smart people. So nobody is disagreeing for lack of intelligence - only because they see the same things differently, which is a normal human thing and part of our strength as a group.

I've been out of the picture for a while (day job), but I'd like to express my gratitude to the people who have put so much of their time and energy into AMI.

As always, the IBIS Open Forum, its associated groups and the reflectors they support exist to foster communication, discussion and cordial debate. One of the founding principles of our organization is to encourage consensus in the development of new standards. In that vein, I would like to remind everyone to please keep discussions professional, civil and courteous, and to refrain from making statements that are personal or accusatory.

I am told that Confucius said, “Silence is a friend who will never betray.” In more modern terms, the “Drafts” folder allows for more reflection than the “Send” button.
