No patents were declared. Justin Butterfield took minutes. Review of Minutes: - Michael called for review of the minutes from the February 8 meeting. Mike LaBonte moved to approve the minutes. Bob Ross seconded. The minutes were approved without objection. Review of ARs: - Michael to send out BIRD189.1 draft1. - Michael reported that this is done. Opens: - Bob sent out some proposed changes that he would like to go over. - Radek Biernacki sent an email in regards to Unused_port_termination that needs to be looked into. BIRD189.1: Michael showed the latest BIRD draft with several minor editorial changes. Michael noted that he sent out a link with possible candidates to replace the figures. Mike asked if this version of the BIRD would be a draft1. Bob agreed it should be post as draft1. Radek had sent out an email in regards to the Unused_port_termination rules. Bob pointed out that the sentence: "If this parameter is not defined and File_TS is present, then the EDA tool should connect the unused terminals to GND through a resistor with the Touchstone file’s reference resistance for the corresponding terminal." should be deleted per Radek's suggestion. If the unused terminals are not defined, they should be left floating. Randy Wolff suggested to change the first sentence of the Unused_port_termination rules section to add File_TS. Mike pointed out that either File_IBIS-ISS or File_TS have to be specified, so the phrase "and File_IBIS-ISS is present" can be removed. Randy suggested to email the proposed change to Radek to get his feedback. Bob sent out a document with proposed changes to reorder the list on page 23 and to reorder the table on page 24 to be consistent. The order of pin, pad, buffer is used for these pages. He also proposed grouping the I/O and rail. Randy and Mike agreed that the changes made the table easier to read. Michael asked how we want to proceed with the changes and when to send the updated BIRD to the open forum. Bob thought we can post a draft2 of BIRD189.1, then review it over email. Bob did not see much value in the National Semiconductor pictures in their current form. He suggested to add labels to clarify the pictures. Mike thought we would need very high resolution photos and zoom into a section of the package. Michael asked if we should suspend future meetings. Bob thought that we could suspend the meetings, and we can review the draft over email. He added we could reconvene when we have updated figures or if we get comments and suggestions to review. Bob moved that we suspend future meetings until we have figures to include or comments to review. Mike seconded. There were no objections. Bob moved to adjourn. Mike seconded. The meeting adjourned without objection.
