Charlie,

The IBIS Connector Model (icm) specification is still under revision. The
document that you downloaded is a work in progress. The specification will not
be fully supported by simulators or model makers until the specification reaches
at least level 1.0.

The good news is that the level 1.0 is getting close.

Depending on the simulator, there are some ways to get connector models into the
circuit. Unfortunately, this can be simulator dependent.

As such, the best bet is to see what kind of models does your simulator support,
then see if the connector vendor has that type of model available.

Best Regards,
_gus

Subject: [Q] Is there any EDA simulator accepting Connector IBIS?

Dear all of you,

I am Charlie Park in KAIST, South Korea.

I am very interested in the IBIS of connector and downloaded the latest version
spec.

But I am afraid that I can't find any way to simulate an example file(molex
one)
because every EDA tool
accepts just the buffer IBIS format, normal one.

How can I simulate the connector IBIS model?

Please give me some advice or information about simulation tool accepting
connector
IBIS model.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Best regards.

- from South Korea, Charlie
