Subject: [IBIS-Users] Validation of IBIS model

Hello IBIS Gurus
I am trying to simulate the IBIS model in Spice for it's validation .
I generated the IBIS model by s2ibis2 script. After that I had two case.
1. Simulate the spice netlist of the buffer with some load .
2. Replace the subckt of buffer with IBIS model for same setup and
compare these two results.
I used the following setup :

In Ist case I have the spice subckt of the buffer and in second case I
replced the subckt of buffer with IBIS model.
The other end of Tx is left open .
In the ouput file at the junction of cap I see a lots of ringing in
first case while with IBIS model I don't see any ringing. Why this is
happening. Why the IBIS model is not able to give any ringing?
I am attaching the waveforms for both of the cases for reference.
