A guess

I seems like that the person, who made the IBIS model did not simulate long enough. The VT curves have not reached steady state.

If you did the models yourselves using s2ibis2, try to extend the simulation time by increasing [Sim time] parameter in the .s2i setup file.

Otherwise return to the model provider and ask for a better model.

Subject: [IBIS-Users] DC endpoint errors

Hello Experts,

I have used ibischk3 parser for my models and it has given following
errors and the file as failed.

What is the accuracy of my results in case I use this model.

Could anyone please suggest why these errors occur and how to overcome
these errors.

WARNING - Model IO: The [Rising Waveform]
      with [R_fixture]=70 Ohms and [V_fixture]=0V
has TYP column DC endpoints of 0.01V and 2.03v, but
an equivalent load applied to the model's I-V tables yields
      different voltages ( 0.02V and 2.07V),
      a difference of 0.58% and 2.10%, respectively.
ERROR - Model IO: The [Rising Waveform]
      with [R_fixture]=70 Ohms and [V_fixture_min]=0V
has MIN column DC endpoints of 0.00V and 1.04v, but
an equivalent load applied to the model's I-V tables yields
      different voltages ( 0.01V and 1.42V),
      a difference of 0.56% and 26.94%, respectively.
ERROR - Model IO: The [Falling Waveform]
      with [R_fixture]=70 Ohms and [V_fixture_min]=2.7V
has MIN column DC endpoints of 1.71V and 2.70v, but
an equivalent load applied to the model's I-V tables yields
      different voltages ( 1.59V and 2.70V),
      a difference of 10.89% and 0.00%, respectively.
ERROR - Model out: The [Rising Waveform]
      with [R_fixture]=70 Ohms and [V_fixture_min]=0V
has MIN column DC endpoints of 0.00V and 1.05v, but
an equivalent load applied to the model's I-V tables yields
      different voltages ( 0.00V and 1.41V),
      a difference of 0.00% and 25.47%, respectively.
ERROR - Model out: The [Falling Waveform]
      with [R_fixture]=70 Ohms and [V_fixture_min]=2.7V
has MIN column DC endpoints of 1.70V and 2.70v, but
an equivalent load applied to the model's I-V tables yields
      different voltages ( 1.58V and 2.70V),
      a difference of 10.70% and 0.00%, respectively.

Thanks in anticipation.

Ramesh
