RE: [IBIS-Users] How to specify different applications?

The best way of assigning different characteristics to a pin in an IBIS
model is using the [Model Selector] feature in IBIS.  This lets the use
select the various voltage, slew rates of drive strength available for a
particular buffer in their application.  It is possible to construct IBIS
models that are developed for a specific voltage, etc. which makes the users
job easier but then the model creator has to develop multiple models and
this can get out of hand quickly with some parts.  We have done this both
ways depending on the characteristics of the part.

   If the buffers of a compenent work in 2.5V and 3.3V applications, How
must I specify the different applications in the IBIS model? Must I specify
by means of separated components? or Must I specify by means of [model
selector] keyword?
