Kong-Yew,

Just do it as any other time. Don't worry about the
internal termination. Use an external 50 Ohm (or whatever
is needed) resistor to get your Vt data.

By the way, the new IBIS Cookbook is available now, you
may want to read it. It has a lot of good stuff on
differential models.

Subject: [IBIS-Users] Modeling Differential Open Drain With Internal Pullup Termination

Hi,

I have been trying to model/generate IBIS for a differential open-drain with internal pullup termination. I am confused on the load resistance setup to obtain the V-T curves. For usual open-drain, 1 rising waveform and 1 falling waveform to recommended pullup resistor termination and voltage is sufficient.

However, if the pullup resistor termination and voltage is internal, how should I connect the output for V-T table? If anyone has suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.

Best regards,

Kong-Yew
