RE: [IBIS-Users] How to obtain Golden waveforms of ver 4.x?

Siva,

In a word, "yes." :)

If you are generating your IBIS data from a SPICE netlist/process file
(and not from lab measurement), then the waveforms under [Test Data]
would indeed be generated using this original model set. The load you
use for that simulation should be specified under [Test Load].

Again, please understand that [Test Load]/[Test Data] are for
correlation purposes only. [Rising Waveform] et al are what are
actually used by tools for simulation analysis.

Does this help?

Hi Michael,

"These are waveforms generated using the
original circuit design on which the IBIS data is based. "

are drived?

Is it possible to obtain the golden waveforms from a spice netlist by
simply,
simulating the output VT curves using the ideal test load specified by
[test load] and
[test data] network?

In other words simply replacing the network of v_fixture, r_fixture, and

c_fixture
(which is used for rising and falling waveforms?) with [test load]
network?

Clarification will be of great help.

Regards,
Siva Borra.
