Plot the clamp curves and then ask yourself if this data is reasonable.
0.3+ Amps of current in an input structure? In the active region?

Hi Cary,

Thanks for the inputs. Indeed the cell has on - die termination. I will come
back to you if i have any questions.

Thanks!

Hello Sudarshan,

The 3rd warning means that, a clamp is allowing as much as 1/3 amp of
current to flow, while the voltage is still within the voltage rails. This
is probably not what you intended, unless, you are incorporating the
electrical charactersitics of an on-die-terminator into the clamps.

If you would like to discuss this further, I suggest you contact Mentor
directly - you can email me if you like.

Hi IBIS Experts,

One of my customer is getting the following warning in ICX parser.

;; ;; Warning: Current (0.306459) of summed typical power and ground
clamp curves exceed 0.005 amps in the range between power and ground.
;; ;; Warning: Current (0.274468) of summed minimum power and ground
clamp curves exceed 0.005 amps in the range between power and ground.
;; ;; Warning: Current (0.336667) of summed maximum power and ground
clamp curves exceed 0.005 amps in the range between power and ground.

While running ibischk4 I didnt get this warning. These warnings i am getting
for LVDS input cell.

Please also let me know what this warning means.
