please help?

Thanks,
Randy

Subject: Need help with GND_Clamp and POWER_Clamp

Hello Randy,

I am a beginner at IBIS. I downloaded the free tools from IBIS homepage
and try to generate the models for the first time.

So far so good but the example script (
http://www.vhdl.org/pub/ibis/s2ibis/s2ibis2_v1.1/) does not include
GND_clamp and POWER_clamp. Is there any other scripts or examples you
can tell me so I can complete my IBIS models quickly?

My question to you is:

1/ when I sweep the supply range for GND_clamp from -VDD to +VDD, should
I tie the Pad to VSS or to VDD?
1/ when I sweep the supply range for POWER_clamp from -VDD to 0V, should
I tie the Pad to VSS or to VDD?

Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you Randy.
