[IBIS-Users] RE: S2ibis3 JAVA version Error

Hi ,

     As an alternative I even tried using j2sdk1.4.2_15 and running
s2ibis3_v1_1/ex1/ files  which I downloaded from IBIS official website
today 

And I modified the buffer.s2i attached herewith along the log file ,such
that it should generate

Pullup,pulldown,ramp, Rising and Falling  using Spectre 

 

But it generated only 6 files pullup and pulldown but did not report any
error and displayed below information

pullupData_p.size :0

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1

        at sortVIData.sortVIData(s2ianalyz.java:605)

        at analyzePin.analyzePin(s2ianalyz.java:1273)

        at analyzeComponent.analyzeComponent(s2ianalyz.java:1459)

        at s2ibis3.main(s2ibis3.java:102)

java version "1.4.2_15"

Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_15-b02)

Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_15-b02, mixed mode)

 

An error occured running the Java program.

If the Java version above is less than 1.4, please install Java 2, ver
1.4.

 

Can you please suggest me way on how to fix this , and also let me know
if you need any info

Hi ,

  I am trying to install IBIS package and I have Java version 1.6.X
version 

When I run s2ibis3.csh it runs and generates all .out and .spi files in
spectre mode but could not generate IBIS model instead it displayed
below Error report

 

java version "1.6.0_01"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_01-b06)

Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 1.6.0_01-b06, mixed mode)

 

An error occured running the Java program.

If the Java version above is less than 1.4, please install Java 2, ver
1.4.

 

 

Can you please let me know is it necessary that I should install  Java
1.4.2 only 

 

In the .csh file I even included this statement 

 

$javaprog -version |& grep "java version.*1\.[456]" || goto javaversion

 

Inorder to accept 1.4.X  to 1.6.X
