[IBIS-Users] Using external model

Hi,

I have been trying to use external model keyword in my ibis model and I have been able to call spice netlist which is basically some ideal resistors.
So I do not need to have complete spice models to be included in the netlist.

I am able to parse the model with ibischk5. But I want to simulate this in different simulators.
Is there any document that can be used as reference as to how this model can be simulated in different tools
like cadence/mentor and hspice. How does the simulator know where the netlist is present?
I simulated this in hspice and in the deck I still need to include the netlist files to simulate the same. Is this correct approach?

Thanks
Vinayak
