UNNOFFICIAL IBIS Version 5.0 Drafts for Review

This directory contains documents of ongoing work including UNOFFICIAL
interim rollups of changes and approved BIRDS into a DRAFT of VERSION 5.0 -
the next planned upgrade of IBIS.


IBIS VERSION 5.0 UNOFFICIAL VERSIONS

  IBIS Version 4.2 was ratified as ANSI/EIA-656-B on March 1, 2007.
  The baseline draft version is under the directory /pub/ibis/ver4.2.

  ver5_0a.txt    Draft IBIS Version 5.0 showing inclusion of approved
                 BIRD74.6, BIRD95.6, BIRD98.3, BIRD103.1 and BIRD104.1.
                 Date of the document is set arbitrarily to June 27, 2008.

  ver5_0b.txt    Draft IBIS Version 5.0 showing inclusion of approved
                 BIRD106 and BIRD107.2.  May 29, 2008

     ver5_0b_wip.ibs:  Shows how the final form might appear with removal
                       of comments and old text related to BIRD revisions,
                       although some other |* comment lines remain.

  ver5_0c.txt    Draft IBIS Version 5.0 showing inclusion of approved
                 BIRD108.1 and BIRD109.1.  June 11, 2008
