============================================================================== IBIS INTERCONNECT TASK GROUP Mailing list: ibis-interconnect@freelists.org ============================================================================== Attendees from September 30, 2026 Meeting (* means attended at least using audio) Amphenol Graham Kus Cadence Kyle Lake* Chipletz Stephen Newberry Intel Corp. Michael Mirmak* MathWorks Walter Katz Siemens EDA Weston Beal, Arpad Muranyi*, Randy Wolff* Synopsys Ted Mido, Edna Moreno ============================================================================== Michael Mirmak called the meeting to order. No patents were declared. Michael noted that the minutes of the September 23 meeting were not available for review. These will be provided for review before the next meeting. Michael informed the team that, due to absences, the next two Interconnect Task Group meetings were likely to be cancelled. The team reviewed the Port Mapping Draft 35 document. Most of the meeting was focused on making "live" edits to the Port Mapping Draft 35 document, in preparation for issuing Draft 36. This will help Arpad Muranyi create an automated EMD generation tool to test the Touchstone examples and Port Mapping data structures defined so far. Arpad suggested that one major change was to ensure that, if a model has a Pin_name, we will need to declare a Signal_name. Arpad suggested cross-checking the later Port Mapping section written by Arpad against the original rules in the initial portion of the proposal (see cyan-shaded highlights). The new green section is an addition to what Arpad created previously. The team was able to complete review of nearly the entire document, including examples. Michael will send out Draft 36 with changes to address Arpad's suggested changes. [AR] Arpad moved to adjourn; Randy Wolff and Kyle Lake seconded. The meeting adjourned without objection.
