Please fill out the top part of the following form and send the complete form to ibis-bug@eda.org. A list of reported bugs will be maintained on eda.org. ****************************************************************************** PARSER VERSION NUMBER: 5.0.3 PLATFORM (SPARC, HP700, PC, etc.): PC OS AND VERSION: Windows 2000 REPORTED BY: Bob Ross, Teraspeed Consulting Group DATE: July 27, 2010 DESCRIPTION OF BUG: There is no indication when a [Model Selector] in a file is not used. The recommendation is to issue a Caution message for unused [Model Selector]s because they may indicate unintended pin assignment or extra [Model Selector]s that were intended to be removed. The test case reports illustrates a file that passes the ibischk5 parser and also contains an unused [Model Selector]. The check should be done for [IBIS Ver] 3.2, 4.2 and 5.X files.
