Subject: May any HyperLynx user help me?
Hi there,
The question is originated from the HyperSuite Demo(a hyperlynx product)
report. The Termination Wizard in this simulation tool reports also driver
impedance and transition time. After hundreds of test I find the reported
transition time is thus calculated:
Z=6*X*Y/(X+Y)
where
Z = transition time,
X = dt_r/dv( typical ),
Y = dt_f/dv( typical )
That is to say, transition time is not related to supply level, not to
output swing, not to the absolute value of dv or dt even. What does this
mean?
Best Regards
Baoshu XU
