[IBIS-Users] Driver Schedule in IBIS model

Hi ! all

Recently we have a project use the IBIS model with "Driver Schedule".
The simulation tool is HSPICE2004.03.

The netlist for HSPICE is :

Bp_output0 pu0 pd0 out1 in1 pc0 gc0 file='SATA3G.ibs'
+ model='SATA3G_A4_P2' <=== Output Buffer

According to the userguide of HSPICE, this kind of linkage should be
workable for the model with "Driver Schedule".
But, it is not.
The simulation results are not correct (output waveforms can not switch
with digital stimulus) although the userguide of HSPICE has claimed that
they can support the Driver Schedule.

If I want to get the "correct" (at least the waveform can switch) results,
I must also connect the following "Driver Schedule Model" with the main
output buffer.

+ model='HIGH_HIGH_A4_P2' <=== Open_source

Open_Drain

+ model='LOW_LOW_A4_P2' <=== Open_Drain

Has anyone used the model with Driver Schedule successfully in HSPICE?
I know I should ask "Synopsys" and I have asked them already. But they have
no comments till now...
