Hi Experts, While checking the quality of .ibs file with ibischk3 , I'm encountering following warnings. The I/O pad is general purpose. IBISCHK3 V3.2.9 Checking gpv1p8_1.ibs for IBIS 2.1 Compatibility... WARNING - Model gpv1p_100kPUstd_s0h1: GND Clamp : Maximum value never becomes zero WARNING - Model gpv1p_100kPUstd_s0h1: POWER Clamp : Minimum value never becomes zero ***Why above two warning are coming ?? I didnt face these warnings for DDR I/O pad. WARNING - Model gpv1p_100kPUstd_s0h1: The [Rising Waveform] with [R_fixture]=50 Ohms and [V_fixture_min]=0V has MIN column DC endpoints of 0.00V and 0.21v, but an equivalent load applied to the model's I-V tables yields different voltages ( 0.02V and 0.23V), a difference of 7.63% and 9.39%, respectively. WARNING - Model gpv1p_100kPUstd_s0h1: The [Rising Waveform] with [R_fixture]=500 Ohms and [V_fixture_min]=0V has MIN column DC endpoints of 0.00V and 1.25v, but an equivalent load applied to the model's I-V tables yields different voltages ( 0.04V and 1.26V), a difference of 3.48% and 1.29%, respectively. WARNING - Model gpv1p_100kPUstd_s0h1: The [Falling Waveform] with [R_fixture]=500 Ohms and [V_fixture_min]=1.65V has MIN column DC endpoints of 0.38V and 1.65v, but an equivalent load applied to the model's I-V tables yields different voltages ( 0.44V and 1.65V), a difference of 5.00% and 0.03%, respectively. ***These warnings remain same even if I increase the simulation time from 15ns to 30ns. It means the waveforms are settled and wont see any significant change with the simulation time. Could there be any other reason ? WARNING - Model 'gpv1p_100kPUstd_s0h1': Extreme currents present in TYP GND_Clam p VI Curve (-1092A @ -1.5V) WARNING - Model 'gpv1p_100kPUstd_s0h1': Extreme currents present in MIN GND_Clam p VI Curve (-1012.3A @ -1.5V) WARNING - Model 'gpv1p_100kPUstd_s0h1': Extreme currents present in MAX GND_Clam p VI Curve (-1174.7A @ -1.5V) WARNING - Model 'gpv1p_100kPUstd_s0h1': Extreme currents present in TYP POWER_Cl amp VI Curve (1370.6A @ -1.5V) WARNING - Model 'gpv1p_100kPUstd_s0h1': Extreme currents present in MIN POWER_Cl amp VI Curve (1249.7A @ -1.5V) WARNING - Model 'gpv1p_100kPUstd_s0h1': Extreme currents present in MAX POWER_Cl amp VI Curve (1493.4A @ -1.5V) ****Are these warning inevitable ?? Errors : 0 Warnings: 11 File Passed **** Is this a good model even if there are warnings since it has passed the check3? Any suggestion/solution would be highly appreciable.
