I have gotten around a lot of limitations of the tool by resorting to this type of method. It is certainly acceptable since the tool simulates all of your .sp files (hand edited or auto generated) to finally create the IBIS model. You just have to be aware of these manual changes... It would be nice to have these capabilities built in. Is it an acceptable way? Thanks. My chip has dual power supply, meaning AVDD and AGND for analog core and DVDD and DGND for digital core. In the .s2i file Pin List, I specify each to be POWER and GND model accordingly. But when I run the s2ibis3, it will only connect a voltage source to AVDD and not to both the VDD. How do I specify the pin list for this case? Thank you.
