Subject: [IBIS] BUG 68 - voltage difference sensitivity

All,
During the last meeting, the IBIS Open Forum suggested that BUG68 should be
considered pending until the sensitivity of the parser in detecting small
voltage differences in I-V curves can be checked (recall that BUG68
identified a problem with parsing I-V curve data where two successive lines
containing the same current points used slightly different voltage points).
By experimenting on the original BUG68 IBIS model using a PC running Windows
2000, I find that the parser must "see" a difference of at least 1e-5 volts
to classify two I-V curve data lines as different. The results were the
same on an HP UNIX system.
An updated version of the IBIS model, with the critical lines highlighted,
is enclosed.
