Subject: [IBIS] IBIS Models performance on high speed systems

Hi all,
I've got some questions regarding the performance of IBIS models in high
speed systems (>1Gbps data rate?).
I once read in an article saying that IBIS models are no longer reliable at
high speed operation. But isn't that an IBIS model that is generated from
SPICE simulation should reflect the behavior of the SPICE model? What
actually limits an IBIS model's performance in a high speed system?
Thanks & Regards,
