Hello,
This is a question on making a differential model.
My understanding is that if there is a [Model] in an
IBIS file, it can be referenced by the pin list both
as a single ended model and it can also be associated
through the [Diff Pin] keyword as a differential model,
all at the same time.
Now, add the [Receiver Thresholds] keyword into the
picture. Unfortunately, this keyword goes inside a
[Model], and it seems that its content must correspond
to how that [Model] is referenced, single endedly or
differentially.
Was this done intentionally? It seems quite inconsistent
with the earlier notion that a single [Model] can be used
both ways. Or, is this a parser problem?
Thanks,
Arpad
