Thanks Michael,

I would like to urge everybody to review the BIRD and let us know if
there are any inconsistencies or issues that need any further
clarifications.

I would also like to point out that interested people are more than
welcome to attend the weekly ATM calls to discuss any issues or concerns
they have about this BIRD instead of waiting for the IBIS open forum
meetings. If you are interested in joining the call, please send a
request to Arpad (Arpad_Muranyi@mentor.com), who chairs the meetings.

Here are some additional presentations on Algorithmic Modeling and this
BIRD for those hungry for more info:

Introduction to the AMI BIRD given by the ATM group to the IBIS open
forum on Aug 23 2007:
http://www.vhdl.org/pub/ibis/docs/AMI_BIRD_Intro_082407_v7.pdf

Presentation made at the Asia - Pacific summit in September, 2007 about
progress on the AMI work:

It was also mentioned that there are toolkits available to test the
'Interoperability Problem' with sample compiled shared object libraries
(Dlls) and Tester programs to test the models. Here are links to
presentations made by Cadence and Sisoft regarding the toolkits at the
Asia-Pac summit in September, 2007:
http://www.vhdl.org/pub/ibis/summits/sep07b/shah.pdf
http://www.vhdl.org/pub/ibis/summits/sep07b/westerhoff2.pdf

The toolkits themselves can be downloaded from the 'Work Archive' area
of the ATM homepage (http://www.vhdl.org/pub/ibis/macromodel_wip/)

Thanks,
Ambrish.
