Fabio,

You will have to make one [Model] and associate
that model with both pins using the [Diff Pin]
keyword, and the tools will provide the correct
stimulus to both model instances for you
automatically.

Thank you Arpad,

so is a task of the tool to make the inversion
of inverting Pin, clear, so I have only to
characterize the non-inverting output
(I haven't asymmetric structure).
Thanks,

Fabio

Fabio,

There is no reason to make two [Model]s with the
same data in them for a differential pair. You
might as well just have one [Model] and call it
twice for the diff pair. The inversion will be
taken care of automatically by the tool for you.

The only reason you might need to consider two
[Model]s is if the buffer has asymmetric
characteristics between the two outputs in its
behavior.

Hello ibis experts,

I'm in the modeling of a "fully differential driver"
structure, do you think I have to consider the
same model for both output terminals?
(I see many differential model in this way)

[Pin]
...
11 DOUT3- OUTMOD
12 DOUT3+ OUTMOD
...

or is better to consider two model for the two output?

[Pin]
...
11 DOUT3- OUTMINUS
12 DOUT3+ OUTPLUS
...

(in this case the [Pulldown] table of OUTMINUS have the
same points od [Pullup] table of OUTPLUS and viceversa?)

Many thanks,
Regards,

Fabio Brina
