Subject: [IBIS-Users] IBIS models for buffers with integrated Bus Hold

I was looking at some models yesterday for devices that are supposed to have
integrated bus-hold circuits, according to the datasheets. However, the
models did not have the [Submodel] for the bus-hold circuit.
I'll probably need to take this up with the specific vendor, but can anyone
else - either model developers or users - who has experience with such
models comment on this? For example, is it legitimate to have a model that
effectively embeds the bus-hold effect in the primary model tables and
dispense with a submodel? I don't see how because the V_trigger sub-params
cannot be accommodated. An alternative explanation is that the bus-hold is
implemented with just a feedback resistor, the effect of which will be
embedded in the primary tables.
Thanks!
