I am extremely new to IBIS. Been asked to do a signal integrity analysis to our CCA using IBIS models.
I have an ASIC, DSP, SRAM, and a FLASH which are all on the same net and need to perform some sort of signal integrity modeling.
Does IBIS modeling involve more than one component? Composed as a system model (parallel components)?
Will IBIS help me? or is it useful for only ONE component?
How do you create a model for parts that are 'obsolete' and unsupported by their respective vendors?
What equipment and how do I set up an accurate test to get the I/V, V/dt curves of these older parts?
I'm unable to find models for these older components on the website search.
Does anyone have a TMS320C40 model?
