Hi Arpad Since "Series Model" does not support reactive elements, what would be a good way to model L and/or C present between inverting and non-inverting pins of any true differential buffer? Specifically w.r.t IBIS-AMI, could we consider taking s parameters of Tx and rx buffers? thanks Shivani On Thu, Sep 18, 2014 at 7:38 PM, Muranyi, Arpad <Arpad_Muranyi@mentor.com> wrote: > Shivani, > > > > 1) Yes. > > 2) Look at the 3D surface of Idiff, as shown in fig. 4.16 on > > pg. 36 in the IBIS cookbook > http://www.eda.org/ibis/cookbook/cookbook-v4.pdf. > > If the surface is flat, i.e. its edges are straight you have > > a linear (resistive) differential current.
