By now everyone should recognize this as a variant of the
old "Nigerian bank transfer" scam. After trading a few
emails they will ask respondents to send a few thousand
dollars as working capital, a show of good faith, et cetera.
Only a fool would do so.
So how do you suppose they learned about the IBIS list?
Has someone been careless with their email?
