Hello Ibis users
I have made several ibis models by spice to ibis converter (s2ibis2
from NCSU) also I did simulations on both spice and ibis models.
I have some questions regarding the ibis format:
1) C_comp parameter: what are the ways to extract this parameter from
the
spice model of the pad & of the package?
2) What do I lose if my ibis model does not include the C_comp
parameter?
3) Ibis standard 3.2 allow a more precise package modelling for
substrate
and bonding wire separately. Does the simulation software vendors
support
package modelling of ibis standard 3.2? Please let me know about the
vendors
or products supporting ibis standard 3.2 package modelling ?
4) I got recommendation to model the package using *.EBD file. Does the
EBD
format widely supported by the ibis simulation software vendors ? which
format is preferred for package modelling: EBD or package modelling of
ibis standard 3.2?
