Subject: [IBIS-Users] monotonic waveforms

Hello,
Should the rising and falling waveforms be monotonic as well?
When I simulate a differential (PECL) output with internal feedback I see
that the falling waveform has some undershoot and has some damped
oscillation behavior.
Is this allowed in a V-T table? If not, how do I have to deal with it.
I did a simulation with HSPICE2002.2 and Hyperlynx 6.0 and see that both
simulators react differently and both results are not correct (perhaps
newer versions are?).
With kind regards,
