Hi Ambrish, Could you kindly be more specific on the -root command below? For example, in which directory should I type the -root command? I am currently doing it in s2ibis3_v1_1/examples/ex1 directory, where buffer.s2i is located. Besides, I'm running this in Linux using c-shell, hence I typed the following: Source s2ibis3 -root ../../ -s2ibis3 buffer.s2i However, I get the message s2ibis3: Command not found. Kindly advice on how I should proceed. Thanks. Please refer to question C1 in the s2ibis3 FAQ page (http://www.ece.ncsu.edu/erl/ibis/faq/S2IBIS3_FAQ.htm ) Thanks, Ambrish. --Ambrish Varma North Carolina State University ph(919)513-2015, fax(919)515-2285 ________________________________ From: NG,MEI-YEE [mailto:mei-yee.ng@avagotech.com] Sent: Friday, October 06, 2006 5:04 AM To: Ambrish Varma; Mirmak, Michael; ibis-users@eda.org; ibis-info@eda.org Subject: RE: [IBIS-Users] S2IBIS3 V1_1 Hi all, Sorry to bombard you guys with emails. But with reference to the below issue of undefined javadir, I added the line Set javadir = "/opt/j2re1.4.2_12/bin/java" (as shown by the screen shot) Is this the right way to get around it? However, right now I get a different error message : Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: s2ibis3 (as shown by the attachment). Kindly advice on this issue. Thank you. I would like to run s2ibis3's examples, i.e. ex1. I read in the README file that I could try it out by typing s2ibis3.csh -s2ibis3 buffer.s2i. Since I'm using it in cshell, I used a 'source' in front the command to run it. However, I always get the error message saying that javadir is not defined. Please refer to the attached snapshot. I really appreciate anyone who can help on this. Thank you very much.
