I can see how you might think that if you hadn't read the kit doc completely, but the statement is still incorrect. The .ami file included in the SiSoft kit is a full and proper .ami file. The utility ami2csv is used to convert the .ami data to the .csv format that the standalone simulator uses. Thus, the use model is intended to be: .ami file --> ami2csv --> standalone simulation test bench Yes, the standalone simulator does not read the .ami file directly ... no one ever promised that it would. Nonetheless, the SiSoft toolkit provides a defined mechanism for utilizing compliant .ami files. Todd.
