Surendra,
By *-AMS extensions of IBIS I am referring to the [External Model]
or [External Circuit] keywords which allow you to use VHDL-AMS,
Verilog-AMS, or Verilog-A and Berkeley SPICE for writing models.
Unfortunately not too many EDA vendors support these languages,
so you may need to look around first whether your tool can use
such models because you roll up your sleeves to write models like
that.

Subject: RE: [IBIS-Users]: DC voltage for C_comp Calculation
Hi Arpad,
Thanks for information. I have seen some of the tools use
vdd/2 as a DC value to calculate C_comp so as per your comments, I would
say it is not always good to use vdd/2.
Can you elaborate what is *-AMS extensions of IBIS?
Regards
Surendra

The problem is that you may get different results
depending on the DC bias. For that reason I usually
recommend to use a DC value that is close to where
the signaling will be, but you could still get
different results for the high and low levels.
This is when good engineering judgment comes handy,
or a more elaborate behavioral model perhaps using
the *-AMS extensions of IBIS...

Subject: [IBIS-Users]: DC voltage for C_comp Calculation
Hi,
For the calculation of C_comp by AC sweep, we apply an AC signal
along with some DC voltage. What should be the value of this DC voltage
to get correct C_comp value?
Thanks in advance.

Surendra
